Review Anime: Shinchou Yuusha

Shinchou Yuusha: Kono Yuusha ga Ore Tueee Kuse ni Shinchou Sugiru can completely overthrow the image of the god you once imagined.

In anime, the god is always a domineering and almighty entity with the power to rule the whole world.

But with the anime Shinchou Yuusha: Kono Yuusha ga Ore Tueee Kuse ni Shinchou Sugiru can completely overthrow the image of the god you once imagined.

A healing goddess as valuable as a potion, a swordsman who was cast as a sword-hater, goddesses who were infatuated with boys, the whole god world was rotated and tortured… and all that madness caused by a hero…but…“be careful”

Synopsis

Shinchou Yuusha
Synopsis

Risette is a novice goddess who is tasked with saving the world from Demon King Gaeabrande by summoning a human hero. An S-class world, Gaeabrande is extremely dangerous, so Ristarte carefully chooses a hero who will be able to win over the enemy.

She recruited Ryuuguuin Seiya, whose stats were many times greater than any other candidate. Unfortunately, upon summoning him, Rista finds to his disappointment that he is ridiculously cautious about everything, including her!

even refusing to enter the safest areas of that world until he was trained to a level he felt was sufficient, Seiya’s caution drove the goddess mad. However, when the pair finally set foot in Gaeabrande’s world, and events may prove the hero’s caution is justified – or not (perhaps).

Detailed Review Anime

The plot takes on the theme of isekai – a topic that is already too familiar to anime viewers. But here, despite the old theme, it brings a new approach.

The hero Seiya chosen to save the world of S-rank is strong, but he is a strange name. Do everything with prudence and suspicion to the point of absurdity:

Buy armor, buy up to 3 sets (one to wear, one to spare, one to spare for backup), when fighting the weakest slime monster , he also turned on the strongest mode and fought with all his strength but not even the ashes were spared, whoever gave or did anything doubted even the gods.

This weirdness not only makes Rista inhibit but also the viewers themselves. Then, I don’t know since when, the audience was caught up in the story just to know if the guy’s caution or skepticism would work.

Another bright spot of anime is the humor it brings. You will have to laugh at the spin and rotation of the “Careful Hero” Seiya when not only spinning the goddess Ristarte like a pinwheel,

but also making the whole world stand still (I personally like the part where Seiya hit the monsters didn’t come back and ran away, but accidentally dragged them to the godly world).

Character Rating

Goddess Risete

Shinchou Yuusha
Goddess Risete

Goddess Risette, a new god whose specialty is healing. She was tasked with choosing a hero to save Gaeabrande and eventually chose Seiya the story’s representative “Warrior Hero”.

Throughout the anime, although she is a goddess, she plays a “twisted” role in front of the hero Seiya with her reactions and sometimes naughty behavior contrasting her status as an extremely humorous goddess.

And although naughty and a bit like a god, it is undeniable that Rista is still a very kind, honest and self-sacrificing goddess.

Careful Hero – Ryuuguuin Seiya

Careful Hero – Ryuuguuin Seiya

Ryuuguuin Seiya or “Caution Hero” was a very outspoken and overly cautious person that with this nature he destroyed an entire village or a church just to destroy a handful of ashes.

whether he is a hero or a demon lord). He has an odd personality and is the opposite of Ristarte’s also quirky personality. And like other isekai genres, Seiya also has typical characteristics of this genre: overwhelming ability and quickly learning new skills.

But what sets him apart from the other protagonists is that by this nature his over-cautious personality for the many tasks he faces as the hero and Chosen companion of the goddess Risette.

Other characters

The other characters are not portrayed too well due to the comedic nature of the anime. But they are all comedians and are funny and refreshing elements for viewers.

Other factors

The series was animated by White Fox, who made the most of the characters’ quirky interactions and provided a treasure trove of facial reactions to the characters, especially for Risete.

While animation isn’t always the strongest factor when it comes to the comedy genre, in anime it delivers quite well. This is aided by the character designs, which allow for a wide variety of expressions and personalities, also stimulating your laughter.

Shinchou Yuusha’s music is composed by Yoshiaki Fujisawa and it’s very well presented, matching each scene. OP, “TIT FOR TAT” by Myth & Roid, and ED “Be perfect, plz! Riko Azuna’s is also solid, although the ED is accompanied by a slightly weird dance sequence from Ristarte.

Someone who doesn’t often listen to the anime’s OP or ED would probably hold on and listen to the anime’s OP and ED – they have an uncanny charm.

Shinchou Yuusha: Is Kono Yuusha ga Ore Tueee Kuse ni Shinchou Sugiru worth watching?

Although loyal to the isekai genre, but Shinchou Yuusha: Kono Yuusha ga Ore Tueee Kuse ni Shinchou Sugiru blew a new breath with the humor it brought.

While it’s hard to say this is the best funny isekai anime, it’s not bad either. It is worth your choice if you are looking to relax and enjoy something new.
